July found us… Unpacking and getting our bearings. Settling in and hanging up pictures on our walls. Spending time in the garden and the yard. July __ Tommy and I visited Restored Community Church, then returned the following Sunday, and the next. We also attended a group Bible study, until it paused for the summer. We look forward to small group studies starting up again in September. We also attended a meeting for new comers, and look forward to becoming more involved. Prayers were answered concerning Tommy’s job. He got on in mid-July as an electrician, at the very job he was hoping and praying for.

As for THE HEM, we did our very first service project! We served a meal at the Idaho Rescue Mission. We look forward to more service projects in the future!

God has been teaching me a lot during this time. Some of the lessons have been: learning how to wait while remaining faithful, holding one’s dreams with a open hand to hear what the Lord has to say, dedication and stick to it even when it doesn’t make sense, trusting God even when you don’t see much of the picture, because He sees it all, getting back to the basics of: Loving God and Loving Others. I would like to start including a brief summery of main lessons learned during the month. Something along the lines of the outline below.
